What prompted you to launch your job board?

We've been building tools for freelancers for a couple of years now, and we're constantly touching base with our audience and asking about their most significant pain points and how we can best serve them. One consistent bit of feedback from that crew? Finding new clients is hard. Locking in new clients is hard. Managing those clients is hard. We were already helping with the second and third but hadn't touched the first.

We decided we wanted to and were in an excellent place to help, and so the job board was born. Today, we're working every day to tweak and update the job board to bring our crew the best open roles out there.

What's the overarching goal of your newsletter?

There are two goals for the newsletter and Harlow in general: Help our crew find and lock in new clients and help them grow sustainable businesses that serve their needs. We leverage the job board and our own experiences and insight to give the crew the best open roles and to guide them on the confusing and complicated journey of entrepreneurship.

How does your LinkedIn content tie into the growth of your newsletter and job board?

My goal across any publication or channel remains the same. Help freelancers find new jobs and grow thriving businesses. Growth happens when you get really focused on your goals and then use every platform and tool in your arsenal to work toward that goal.
